ANKARA BAR ASSOCIATION ORGANIZATIONAL COMPOSITION

The organization of the Ankara Bar Review is as follows:

• Vedat Ahsen Coşar, Editor-in-chief. Current president of the Ankara Bar Association. The EiC provides overall guidance with regards to the management of the ABR. He also interfaces with the appropriate organs of the Ankara Bar Association to ensure the maximum support and benefit of the ABR.

• Board of Advisors. Venerable renowned members of the legal community who will provide general advice as to the direction of the ABR. They will serve within different timeframes ranging from one to three upon nomination by the Committee and appointment by the EiC.

• Ece Yılmaz, Managing Editor. Ece is a member of the Ankara Bar Association, nominated and elected by the Committee and eventually appointed by the EiC. She is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ABR.

• Board of Editors. Board of Editors consists of the very members of the Ankara Bar Association, English Journal Committee: Cemal Dursun, Executive Member; Habibe İyimaya Kayaaslan, Committee Chair; Murat Sümer,Committee Vice-Chair; Ece Yılmaz Managing Editor;  Levent Aydaş, member; Altan Liman, member; Ş.Saadet Özfırat van Delft, member; Ayşegül Özdemir, member; Kadir Yılmaz, member; Özge Evci, member; Cansu Akgün, member; Cihangir Karabıyık, member; and Nursel Atar, non-affiliated member. The Board is principally tasked with assistance in the promotion of the ABR, solicitation of articles and other materials suitable for the content, assistance to potential authors, and selection of articles for publication.

• Larry D. White, JD , Technical Editor. Larry is a qualified US lawyer non-admitted in Turkey. As a native English speaking lawyer, he oversees technical aspects of the workload, proofreading, editing usage of English and for assembling the text into camera-ready format for printing.
